Key Takeaways

  • 54 employees from every department spent the week learning from customers.
  • Customers praised our people as much as our software.
  • We were guests at 28 NECA chapter events and gave away 1,000+ custom hats.
  • New features: Punchout, Outlook Integration, Material Pricing with McCormick, and more.
  • The Project Orders pilot for long-lead equipment is open for sign-ups.

We’re back from NECA Conference 2026. What a great event NECA hosted this year. The whole Remarcable team returned home energized, which is how you know it’s an amazing show.

It was also a great reunion for me. I got to catch up with old friends from across the industry, and those conversations are a big part of why this show is special.

A few things stood out this year. I want to share them, along with a big thank-you to everyone who stopped by.

A new trailer and more than 1,000 custom hats

NECA was the first trip for the Remarcable Trailer. It won’t be the last.

The plan is simple: take it where our customers work. Job sites, distributor branches, and customer events. If you want to see the Remarcable Trailer at your shop or your next event, reach out!

We gave away more than 1,000 custom hats at the Remarcable hat bar. Every person picked their own patch. Some folks took longer choosing a patch than it takes to cut a PO in Remarcable. If you went home with one, send us a photo of it on the job!

Customers talked about our people as much as our software

We brought 54 Remarcable employees from every department to NECA this year. It’s a chance to meet customers face to face, and just as much a chance to learn. Remarcable is growing fast, and learning from our customers stays a priority.

Having so many of you at NECA is what makes it such a valuable event for us. We had hundreds of real conversations at the booth about how your teams handle purchasing, AP automation, and material operations today.

You told us where material gets lost between the field and the office, and what you want us to build next.

Customers shared how the software is making every department more productive, improving margin and employee satisfaction. We also got honest feedback about what wasn’t working. That is just as important, because that’s how we improve.

What stuck with me most is what customers said about our people. Again and again, customers told us how much our team shows up for them: sales, onboarding, contractor success, supplier success, product, and engineering.
‍

You could see it in the booth. Our teams love our customers, and in turn our customers love them right back. That doesn’t fit in a product release note. We are so much more than our software, and I’m proud of that.

Thank you to NECA, ELECTRI, and our partners

Our relationship with NECA means a lot to Remarcable. This year we were guests at 28 NECA chapter events, and we’re grateful to every chapter that welcomed us in.

I also got to attend the ELECTRI International breakfast and eventing reception, where I caught up with customers and fellow partners. Thank you to ELECTRI for the partnership. It is always an honor to be in the room.

Remarcable works because it connects to the software contractors already run and the distributors they already buy from. NECA put a lot of those partners under one roof, and our team made a point to visit every one of them.

We spent time with McCormick, whose estimating software now pulls material pricing straight from Remarcable, and with EVOLVE MEP, our newest integration partner, solving the BIM-to-build procurement challenge.

We were directly across the aisle from RIVET Works, which meant sharing a beer at the Remarcable booth happy hour. I got to personally catch up with Procore and BuildOps, both new integration partners announced this year.

Those partnerships matter because contractors shouldn’t have to re-key data between tools they already own. Thank you to every partner who made time for us.

And to our distributor partners, many of whom were at NECA: thank you. Your branches keep our customers’ job sites supplied, and Remarcable is built to make that relationship stronger.

What new features we showcased at NECA

At Live Wire, our quarterly product showcase in September, our CEO Clint Zhang shared that more than $1 billion in material now moves through Remarcable every month, across more than 250 mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors.

A lot of booth conversations came back to what we announced there. Every update pulls more of your POs and invoices into Remarcable, so the margin you bid is the margin you keep, and field crews keep working because material shows up when it’s supposed to. Remarcable Intelligence is where AI is applied to your workflows, working behind the scenes making every team member more productive.

Here’s a summary of what was new at NECA:

  • Punchout ordering in Remarcable Procurement. Shop supplier sites like Amazon, Grainger, Hilti, and McMaster-Carr. At checkout, the cart comes back to Remarcable as a pending PO, with your approval rules still in charge. ULINE is joining, too.
  • Outlook integration for AP. Remarcable connects, read-only, to the Outlook folders you choose. It finds supplier invoices and sends them to the OCR queue, so nobody has to forward emails.
  • Tax-exempt forms by project. Assign multiple tax-exempt forms to one project, each tied to a supplier. The right form attaches to the PO, and each supplier sees only theirs.
  • Live material pricing in McCormick. Send live average pricing and your supplier price files, including job-specific SPAs, straight into your McCormick estimate.
  • EVOLVE MEP integration (pilot). Send your bill of materials from EVOLVE into Remarcable in a few clicks. No spreadsheet exports, no re-keying.
  • Delivery Management updates. A map view on web and mobile with GPS-tagged drop-offs, new list and weekly calendar views, and shipment requests for anything headed to the jobsite, even items you don’t manage in Remarcable.

Project Orders: built for the two-year order

We also announced the pilot for Project Orders, built for the two-year order. Switchgear, distribution boards, and other long-lead equipment can take a year or more to reach the job.

Project Orders tracks every long-lead order in one place, from PO to job site, and shows the full committed cost the moment you place it. Each order is named the way your team names it, with everything attached underneath.

We’re actively seeking customers to join the pilot. Learn more about Project Orders and request to join the pilot here.

See you on the road

We’re already looking forward to NECA 2027. But you won’t have to wait a year to see us. We’ll be at NECA chapter events in the coming months, and the Remarcable Trailer will be out on the road. Come find us.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, made a custom hat, and told us what’s working and what isn’t. Keep it coming.

Every part. Every team. Every order. Finally connected.
