Going back to NECA

Every fall, I get the same feeling when the NECA Conference comes around on the calendar. It feels a little bit like going back to the beginning.

NECA is a big part of where Remarcable started. Some of the first contractors who took a chance on us, we met on the show floor, talking about the deliveries that showed up wrong and the POs someone had to key in twice. Those conversations shaped what we built. So when I say I look forward to this event every year, I truly mean it.

This year, we're bringing the largest Remarcable team we've ever brought to NECA. That says a lot about the year we've had. We've grown, our customers have grown with us, and we wanted as many of our people as possible in the room with the contractors we work for. The best part of NECA is the people. Many of you have been with us for years. Some of you we've only met over a digital meeting. Either way, I'm excited to shake hands, hear how your year and jobs are going, and find out what's still slowing your team down. Feedback is the most useful thing we bring home.

I also want to thank the NECA chapters who have invited us to be a part of their events throughout the year. Those invitations mean a lot to me, and to our team. These chapters are where our industry really connects, and we don't take being included for granted.

New features, live on the floor

This week we held Live Wire, our quarterly product highlight. We announced seven new enhancements. Every one of them started with something a customer told us. Here are a few we'll be featuring at the booth:

• Punchout. The PPE, pens, and special supplies a crew needs tomorrow. That spend used to live on a company card with no PO behind it. Now your team shops Amazon, Grainger, Hilti, and McMaster-Carr, and the cart comes back into Remarcable as a purchase order with your approval rules applied.
• Outlook integration. No more forwarding invoices and hoping none get missed. Remarcable reads the Inbox folders you authorize, matches each document to a supplier, and moves it into the queue for review.
• Remarcable Material Pricing with McCormick. Live average pricing and your job-specific SPAs, pulled straight into your McCormick estimate. Bids you can stand behind, without the export.
• Delivery tracking on a map. GPS tags where every shipment was delivered, and you can now create a shipment request for anything headed to the job, whether it's materials, tools, or prefab.

A few surprises

I'll be honest... our team had a lot of fun planning for NECA this year. There are a few surprises waiting at the Remarcable booth, and I'm not going to spoil them here with a trailer. Just make sure to come find us at Booth 1923.
